June 8. The Big 44. Probably going to Pride Fest in Round Lake. Get a Lox Bagel in Libertyville for breakfast. Order Thai for dinner. Maybe get Lees Donuts on Sunday. 

Just Chill & Work as well. Even when I was married, I spent my birthdays alone. Unless there was a Steak Dinner promised, Will made no time for me. He used all his Vacation time for leaving early. His kid. His family. Not me though. 

I was already used to it. Twice, I was Sexually Assaulted on my birthday. Two years in a row. In 2021 by my friends boyfriend at work. In 2022 by my ex best friend of thirty years. 

A lousy track record. That’s why I enjoy my birthdays solo.
